We lost to Peterborough in the cup which was a hugely important game as demonstrated by all the calling for the managers' head. Meanwhile, Forest smashed Arsenal 4-2 and are clearly a top, top side. Villarocker Posted January 13, 2018 Share Posted January 13, 2018 Forest were terrible and I'm sure we could have won a lot more comfortably if they hadn't decided to sit back with a plan to protect and counter - which you would expect is pre-planned. Having said the above, the stats mentioned during the game said it all. Since Feb of 2017 Villa have lost 0 and drawn 3 of games we have taken the lead in. Makes sense as to why Lansbury said pre-season we would scrape a lot of one goal victories this season. It probably also explains why we aren't already in the automatic places.
