Nicho Posted June 14, 2016 Share Posted June 14, 2016 I just can't see UEFA banning the next host of the World Cup. I know they have no remit over it but it is surely the death of the tournament. If they do get removed a suspended sentence should be extended to all Russian clubs in domestic and European competitions with any instances meaning the cancellation of the tournament in Russia. Exactly. Bunch of tossers attack unsuspecting fans, even wearing England shirts by all accounts to blend in, wearing gum shields and carrying weapons and then spout shit like this. Absolute disgrace, if UEFA had had anything about them they should have been stripped of the WC the instant their politicians condoned it let alone encouraged it. villakram Posted June 14, 2016 Share Posted June 14, 2016 As bad as the Russians are, please remember that during the 20-30 yrs it took England to more or less sort out it's very own hooligan problem, Russian society took a detour to hell and back. Hence, we should cut them a little slack if they're still having issues now. Especially, given the large homegrown French contingent who appear to have been politely ignored while those nasty Brits/Russians are denigrated. It's cringe all around! I don't think other countries get our 'banter'. Most English fans outside the pubs just want to get pissed up and sing (all beit offensive) banter songs and not get involved in MMA street-style.
