Genie Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 I hope the mods don't mind, but I thought it might be a good idea to discuss the fan trouble in a separate place and keep the other topics for discussing the football.
Genie Posted June 11, 2016 Author Posted June 11, 2016 The "casual ultra" page on Facebook has lots of videos of the last 24 hours of various clashes involving England supporters. They also say an England fan has died after being hit by a table leg.
Zatman Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 it is tarnishing what so far has been an entertaining couple games so far and sadly it will only get worse. hopefully story of guy in critical condition isnt true and just an internet hoax long term and rightly or wrongly this will probably also put UEFA or FIFA off hosting a tournament in England
Genie Posted June 11, 2016 Author Posted June 11, 2016 Searching "England Fans" on twitter brings up so many videos of fighting, clashes, chair throwing, charges by police. Seems like it's all kicking off right now.
Zatman Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 I dont know if ignoring but Sky arent really covering it instead the Queens 90th is more important

LakotaDakota Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 The 2018 World cup in Russia is going to be fun....

But it'll be a lot harder and more expensive to get to for many. I expect the Russian cops to do a far "firmer" policing job than this shambles from the French.
Genie Posted June 11, 2016 Author Posted June 11, 2016 I'm nervous there will be trouble in the ground later...
LakotaDakota Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 sadly i think it is almost inevitable, There will be plenty of people with tickets in the wrong areas of the ground and after the past few days i imagine there are plenty of drunk & angry people around
rodders0223 Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Blame the police, blame the enviroment created. Dickheads always travel, embarrassing.
LakotaDakota Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 daily fail is constantly updating a bunch of pretty much the same stories with more info/photos/videos as they emerge http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3636705/The-Big-Kick-Hundreds-England-Russia-fans-clash-running-battles-streets-Marseille-ahead-tonight-s-Euro-2016-match-baton-wielding-police-fighting-tear-gas.html
maqroll Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Some laughable punches thrown in the last clip, lol
Davkaus Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 It's like this at every tournament. You wouldn't catch me anywhere near an England game abroad.

Genie Posted June 11, 2016 Author Posted June 11, 2016 That'll be the authorities they were goading, taunting and throwing bottles at for the last 2 days I guess.
rjw63 Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Doesn't matter what country they're from, football hoolies are all braindead. 3
Zatman Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 i do look forward now to 2022 to see hooligans going wild in Qatar
