I quite like the 7% polish beer they have started stocking down my local offy - it's basically tenants super without the stigma.

Anyway, Birmingham Mail repeating the story again, I think they believe it to be true and are getting behind it in full now. Could it be announced this week? Why not.

The Mail are the same news group as the Mirror so it doesn't mean anything. Most papers just report what's in other papers these days there are very few exclusives since social media.

i couldnt think of anything better than rich fans buying the club, surely people at the top with the clubs interests at heart would be win win win? Or am i being silly?

I don't think they need to be fans. A genuine interest in football though would help!

The Japanese and Chinese are neither the same or besties... please forgive our horrible ignorance, oh most honorable of gods!

Only problem being Sushi, Ninjas and the Samurai are all Japanese not Chinese.

Focus more on Kung Fu, Tsingtao and Bruce Lee films...

You don't say!

I think you missed the joke :)

Apologies in advance, but business was never my strong point.

What is meant by an equity investor? And what would be the pros/cons?

An equity investor is someone who invests in equity. It's good if you want someone to invest in equity, but if you don't then it isn't as good.

Doesn't really mean anything. Most investors are "equity" investors. It means you take equity (ie. shares) in the businesses you're trying to make money with.

I wonder if were going to be sponsored by Tsingtao

Given the reviews it's the only reason I support our new Chinese overlords.

But something I do know about...

TsIngtao is beaut but comes with a horrific hangover after 15 or so bottles.

I'm guessing you're younger than me mate, 15 bottles of Volvic would give me a hangover these days.

Enjoy it while it last Sir. :P

Heard a whisper that UK consortium has 'Screwfix'  as a major backer.  Im sure there's a joke in there for someone. Didn't quite realise what a profitable business screw fix was - assets worth hundreds of millions
