Zatman
Trent Alexander Arnold has got some Dele Alli syndrome. Gets to the top and doesn't develop any of his actual defensive weaknesses I think Bacuna was better defensively than him

Seemed a good age good reputation as a ball player something we didn't or never had at the time. Watched him play on and off for 3 years and he just might be one of the worst players to play PL football more than 4 times. he bossed our forwards

He's no left back.

Kuwabatake Sanjuro
The amount of stupid or dozy defensive things Alexander Arnold is doing on the pitch these days is a bit mad for one of the smartest footballers in the PL. His mind just switches off it seems. When he was younger he was never the best defensively but was never like this.
Kuwabatake Sanjuro
Billy Gilmour is going to be a bust, doesn't have as much talent as Barry Bannan and is not as good a character.

Was really unimpressed with him when I saw him for Norwich, to coin an NFL QB phrase he was so slow going through his progressions and picking a pass meaning he dawdled on the ball, lots of looking around and turning and keeping it away from opposition but never picked the quick and often best pass

rodders0223
Looks a player to me, just two really poor moves, one totally not his fault with Potter leaving about 3 minutes after he signed.
VillaChris
Is Harry Winks still a thing? When you see the likes of Gavi and Pedri doing their stuff for Spain you realise even at his peak how far off top quality tempo midfielders he was. Think Spurs loaned him out to a team in Serie A but he hasn't played much so they'll probably try to flog him to Everton in next six months. Winks hasnt played all season for Sampdoria not sure if injury related but they are looking like relegation favourites On other point then you realise how overrated Wilshere really was, a young English midfielder that can pass and the media built him up as a genius....its laughable in other countries

The Belgian Carlton Cole. That says more about Chelsea’s business intelligence. They overpaid for a player, he didn’t perform what you expect for 100m (scored 15 goals, so not a complete bust) and then sell him for peanuts (he’s not the best striker in the world, but is still worth more than 7m). PaulC
Dont agree about Lukaku. He was great at Inter first spell and hes got a great goal scoring record for Belgium. He just isnt fit!

villa4europe
Lukaku is all about how he gets used, same as most strikers, he's not that Haaland elite level where he will just slot in to any team or system Utd and Chelsea (mindblowingly twice) don't play to his strengths, inter do Belgium used to, his international record is great Still think pre injury villas Benteke was a better player that could do more and Belgium in general in this tournament were shite, batshauyi isn't very good either, Doku wasn't fit and openda vs Canada looked like a pub player, the craziest thing for me was they had 3 strikers who can't control a ball
