TrentVilla Posted October 15, 2015 Moderator Share Posted October 15, 2015 Like the bankers, Sherwood takes full responsibility for the crash.
SikhInTrinity
Krulak is not backing Sherwood, he's just stated that Lerner doesn't like constant change, instead he's actually heaped pressure on him by saying we have good players and should be doing better. Also he didn't deny the two games either, just stated it's pure speculation. This guy has two games to show some kind of fight and if not he's gone.
Designer1 Posted October 15, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted October 15, 2015 I would probably dismiss 99% of what comes out of Krulak's mouth tbh.

dukes
I know Sherwood's a rubbish manager, but comparing him to a banker is a bit harsh.Yeah, bankers at least do some good !

AvfcTheObsession
I think he's got at least 2 games, but if they both go very badly, he might not get any longer than the 2.

Sherwood was invited to attend but chose not to, as Villa prepare to travel to London this weekend to face Chelsea. While Sherwood's future was not discussed at the meeting, Villa's poor recent results were. One of the biggest issues for Villa's owner is thought to be recruitment, with questions being asked of the players brought in since the end of last season.Villa are currently 18th the Premier League with just four points from nine games, with their only victory coming at Bournemouth on the opening day of the season. Stevo985 Posted October 15, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted October 15, 2015 That is awesome. If there was no ultimatum then there's more chance of him getting the boot when we get spanked by Chelsea.
HeyAnty
Yeah there probably isnt a two game ultimatum. Its probably only one game in Swansea because we will be lucky to leave Chelsea without conceding 3 or 4 and its expected
Woody1000
It seems it's becoming clearer and clearer by the day that Tim is out of his depth. He won't see November at this rate.
useless
It was always, unlikely that he was given an ultimatum, because that would just put too much unnecessary pressure on the team when there's enough as it is, and we're trying to win games. But it doesn't mean to say that he won't be sacked if we lose to Chelsea or Swansea.
sne
The time Tim stays here is most likely determined by the time it takes for the club to find and negotiate with his successor.Be it 1 week or 2 months.Thou I can't hide the fear that the club just will do nothing
sharkyvilla
I'm just wondering how anyone would know what a meeting involving Randy was about considering how secretive he is, and Tim wasn't in attendance. I think a gutless performance on Saturday would be enough and Rodgers will be in by Tuesday.
