I have been impressed with Cleverly the last couple of games. He has been working hard.

i also think that Sherwood knows how to play him better to get a better performance ( the job he is asking him to do)

if he keeps this up he may be a future captain for the  and I hope we sign him permanently.

Dont get TOO excited mate! Has played well sure.

Tom Cleverley is ready to turn down a permanent move to Aston Villa – and join Everton instead.

He is on loan at Villa Park from Manchester United and has made 22 league starts this season.

New manager Tim Sherwood is a fan and although Villa would be interested in discussing terms when his Old Trafford deal expires this summer it is understood Cleverley, 25, has already decided to become a free agent.

The midfielder is then expected to move ahead with a plan to put pen-to-paper at Goodison Park.

Roberto Martinez has made his interest clear and the Everton boss knows Cleverley from their time together at Wigan.

Cleverley believes it would benefit him to join up with Martinez again when he formally ends his time as a United player.

If he wants to go to Everton then I wish him all the best, if he doesn't want to be here permanently then he doesn't want to be here. As long as he keeps putting in performances while he is here then I have nothing against him having aspirations to be at another club.

He's done better recently but given the wages he'd cost I'd still let him go somewhere else.

We have Sanchez, Westwood and Delph as central midfield options and given the form G.Gardner is showing at Forest I reckon he'll get a chance next season if he does enough in pre season so that's four options right there.
