Zatman
well all the major sponsors like Adisas, Coca-Cola, VISA etc. have all signed back up for 2018 and 2022 and they don't seem to find an issue with it and this was the main fear about rewarding to these countries They couldn't care less until it hits their profit margins. I wish more attention was being brought to the issue. It would be terrible PR for those companies to be linked to these deaths. surely they would have examined all these facts about losing money before signing up to new deals

Just because the corporations are happy we don't need to be.
bannedfromHandV
Just out of interest, why is it so heinous that Atos sponsor the Paralymipcs or is it just the general principle?
islingtonclaret
Have a look at ATOS's working practices towards the disabled during assessments and how they have operated since their government contract and it should give you an indication as to why it's totally inappropriate for them to be sponsoring the Paralympics.

CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Can we tell Qatar to sod off and give it to somewhere equally random but with less human rights abuses? Although I'm struggling to think of a country that fits that criteria.
Davkaus
Blatter admitting that a Qatar World Cup is a "mistake", and that although they didn't bribe FIFA, "political considerations" were made in awarding them the tournament. WE MUST BOYCOTT THE QATAR WORLD CUP Even then, he only admitted it was a mistake because of the heat, FIFA continue to turn a blind eye to the thousands that have died and that will continue to die to host this tournament. Can we tell Qatar to sod off and give it to somewhere equally random but with less human rights abuses? But they might ask for their money back... villa89
He'll retire soon enough and the new chap will blame the previous incumbent. The senile corrupt clearing in the woods is running again. Link. To be fair to Blatter, he's always been against the Qatar world cup He wasn't though. He just likes to pretend that he was now because it was awarded corruptly and is a complete disaster.
