If ETH loses again then the players will already see him as a dead man walking and do even less. With managers like Klopp, Pep or SAF when he was around it was 100% clear the manager was going nowhere. As a player you either worked or you were out. The Glazers have done a great job for a good while now and given us plenty of laughs, but it wont last forever, unfortunately. Jim Ratsniff is a big Manure fan, if he gets his hands on the club youd have to imagine he’ll get the right people in the right positions to begin steering the ship back in the upward direction again. Such a shame that they’re too big of an entity that no matter how many huge mistakes they make and how much money they waste, they can always just rip it up and start again. They could have easily got £100m for Pogba and Lingard if they had half a brain between them. Is that the Glazers fault? They have sanctioned significant investment in the team, are they holding back on non-playing staff? It doesn’t really make sense to me if they approve £25m a year in wages for Ronaldo but won’t pay whatever the going rate is for a good football director. Maybe the issue is the new Chief Executive Richard Arnold? Is he struggling to recruit good people? Is he restricted on salary or just shit at his job?
