How about people who press the button when the WAIT light is illuminated, or people who repeatedly press the button like they can make it change quicker. Or how about people who come and press the button while you’re stood next to it, waiting, like you forgot to. OR, the people that are stood at the crossing and haven’t pressed the button. Too large a proportion of the population do these things. On a similar note, how about people who try to open a toilet door when the red occupied indicator is on the lock. Seriously, how oblivious can you be. 2

If you've pressed the button then **** wait. At least it serves a purpose then. There's little more annoying than a pedestrian red light and not a sinner in sight. If you see someone pressing the button and not waiting for the red then you should legally be allowed throw rocks at them. 1

My daughter lived in Hannover for 5 months last year, it didn't affect her but her best mate who was with her, is a dual national German so she had to go to the town hall to opt out of it. I think some regions are 8% and some are 9%

These are the same people that get to decide our economic and social futures with their votes of equal worth to mine. Though tbf, they probably know the difference between a lift and an escalator. 2

Popular Post Chindie Posted May 15, 2019 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted May 15, 2019 Decided that I finally couldn't put off cutting the hedge any longer earlier. I hate gardening. I hate doing gardening at the front of the house even more, because my neighbour has cats, which means basically they've imposed cats on the surrounding area, as I've said many times. For some reason they treat my front garden as a toilet. So whenever the dreaded gardening has to happen I end up having to be hyper aware of the fact that, somewhere, there's a nice present of cat shit just waiting to be trod on, or, worse, obliterated by the strimmer and pebble dashing the entire area in purest evil. Today, though... No cat shit. I was careful. I scouted the usual areas, the demilitarised zone of neglected flower bed is usually peppered with cunningly hidden mines of disgust. Nothing. The corner of the hedge is another hot zone, but it was quiet. Too quiet? I kept my guard up, trimmed the hedge. I was careful around the fence post of the drive, the overhang of overgrown branches just above the ground had caught me by surprise before and that pair of shoes will never be the same. Nothing. I did the demoralising sweep up of cuttings, conscious of the time a hair ridden nugget of sinus napalm had secreted itself in the pile and claimed a set of gardening gloves. Nothing. I grabbed the strimmer. There was no doubt this was going to be a half arsed effort so quickly waving the strimmer at the grass and weeds and retired flower bed would be fitting. A few weeds trying to invade the house got shredded. Some grass in the drive fit brought down a peg. The strip of grass that exists to save money on slabs right in the middle of the drive. Slap bang in the middle of it. Completely obvious. You couldn't have placed it any more perfectly. 5 lumps of cat shit. Fresh lumps. Right where I was about to do. Done with malice. Timed to the point I'd gone to get the strimmer. Ended up wretching on my drive as I tried to use a garden broom to sweep the vomit fuel out of the grass. **** cats. 3
