HalfTimePost
Bar United, thats the nicest Christmas period we could possibly hope for. VillaAlex
Don't think its as bad as people are making out. I'd rather play some of the top end sides at the start of the season where they can be complacent. Very happy we have avoided the newly promoted sides. KjParton
Worst start we could have possibly hoped for 0 points by end of August bottom of the league. LAMBERT OUT!
briny_ear
Chelsea away aug 31 will be postponed because they are playing in the "super cup" or something like that, acc to SSN Edited June 19, 2013 by briny_ear
VillaGoMarching
Honestly I don't know what people worry for, we have to play everyone twice. Regardless of when we play teams, we will upset the odds a few times.
VillaGoMarching
My main objection to the fixtures is when was the last time we either started or ended the season at home?
Pez1974
Tough start. The headlines will all be about needing more experience before the and of August! Seriosuly, a few clubs in the past have got off trhe bad starts with a tough fixture list and haven't really recovered all season. At least Lambert has shown he can turn thhis around! LondonLax
To be honest that is pretty good. I'd rather tough games up front whilst everyone is finding their feet then winable games in december when we are playing back to back than doing it the other way round like last season. The_Steve
Fancy a draw against Arsenal. We can beat Liverpool. Won't be easy though.
deasy92
Means no game from 24th August - 14th September...
Risso
Honestly I don't know what people worry for, we have to play everyone twice. Regardless of when we play teams, we will upset the odds a few times. Because we saw all too many times last season how confidence can affect the team. If we get 0 points from the first three games it'll ruin the young lads' belief.
BleedClaretAndBlue
tough tough start but im optimistic about our side this season. If we could kick off with a win at Arsenal we'll all be buzzin off what we could do this season. On the other hand if we lose Benteke and get thumped in those first two people will be worried. Suppose its always better to get those fixtures out the way early (unless it kills the sides morale and confidence), but im confident we'll give most teams a good game this season. UTV!!
