terrytini
Point is it makes absolutely no difference at all what happens in these 3 games. Win all 3, lose all 3, it will hae no bearing on our season. Our worst run last year came after beating Lierpool, and our best run came after our worst run !There are countless examples of good starts ending up rubbish, and the other way round. It just means if we lose them all there will be those oer reacting, and if we win them ditto. What is important is how our Club hae been told to play 3 times in a week to allow anothers participation in a joke competition. Chelsea should hae been made to play it in place of one of their nonsensical money making friendlies.FA showing utter contempt for fans and Clubs as usual. It's not the FA that sets the fixtures it's the Premier League. Anyway, I'm not sure why some of you are acting surprised about this, it's the same as last season when Chelsea's games was moved forward becasue they were playing in the Super Cup as Champions League winners. VillaForever1970
The problem as has always been is that after these games you'll have some muppets calling for Lamberts head because they cannot control themselves.Any club would struggle with that start, i hope people remember that. The European Super Cup Final that was played between Villa and Barcelona in 1983. (Remember this was UEFA doing the scheduling).

They argue with each other all the time. Someone should let their solicitors know. The correspondence from their legal attack dogs always comes on behalf of the Football Association Premier League Ltd (FAPL). As did the contracts to use "their" fixture list. The Premier League may be owned by it's members (the 20 clubs), but the FA holds a veto over all decisions.
