Howe has done very well

7 wins and 5 draws in 16 league games - 26 points

Gerrard for reference also has managed for 16 league games - 8 wins and 2 draws - 26 points

Both justifying their clubs decisions to sack the previous managers.

Are you saying Steve Bruce didn't deserve more time? 🤔

He is and people were saying he was a poor choice. Hes a good manager!

We'll see by the looks of it

I still think he won't be the man in charge when they make the European places push in 2 or 3 years time

Maybe not but then theres not that many great managers around. We have most of them already in the Premier League!

I cannot stand this club.

Also how the media constantly big them up. Yeah the media love the Scum 6 and everyone knows this, but for some reason they also have a massive hard-on for Newcastle and Leeds.

Was an interview on Talksport about Everton getting relegated and the commentator said we have seen big teams like Newcastle and Leeds get relegated in recent seasons. 2004 the latter went down

People who doubted Howe have such short memories. He may not be a ‘sexy’ manager but he did truly incredible things at Bournemouth and he has turned Newcastle around completely. He an excellent manager.

As an aside, Newcastle have been recruiting quite aggressively on LinkedIn for club positions. The way they are advertising and how they are presenting the opportunities leaves now doubt that they absolutely want to be the next Man City. Give it 5 years and we will look back at this period as a pointless period of their ascendancy. They will progress through the Jo/Elano/Robinho/Santa Cruz era and then power on from there.

You can see why people doubted him. He’d lost his way at Bournemouth, couldn’t organise a defence and his signings (Liverpool youth team for £30m each) had been very poor. Also the previous time he’d work outside of Bournemouth he’d got homesick and wanted to go back. So you add those up and there is genuine reason to think he would struggle at Newcastle.
He’s done a great job and does deserve credit though.
