Either we start building a team to support him or he's off. Might come across as disloyal but he has to much quality to be playing in a team this bad. Posted January 1, 2015 Moderator Share Posted January 1, 2015 Poor today - the most disappointing thing for me was to see him bounce off defenders and get beaten in the air, there was a chance in the second half where he was through but brushed off by two Palace players - last season he'd have left one of them on his arse. I think his first game or two back from injury, he'll have been excited to be back and the adrenaline would have carried him through, that's faded a little and he's looking rusty and a way off his best. He comes into midfield to get part of play, doesn't charge forward to get on the defenders shoulder (probably because he doesn't believe he's going to get the ball back), moans at everyone and looks completely out of sorts. For me the final shout at the end was a prime example of his frustration, clearly he believes, like anyone else who saw the game, that Palace should have been beaten and our unwillingness/inability to make chances stops us progressing, He's not playing well, can't argue with that, but he will score goals if given the chance, very few players are one man armies and we shouldn't expect it from Tekkers.
