Some players are done at the top level by the time they're 27, most are done by the time they're 34, he's 37 and looks like he won't be done at the top level until he's 47.

Reinvented himself as a player becoming a fullback.  Absolute quality.  And he's not only in the team on merit but is one of our best performers.  Many players who reach the stage of their career where they lose that bit of pace or sharpness will tend to fall off unless they can do this.  I remember when Ferguson tried to convince Rooney to play in midfield and he was too pig-headed about it, saying he was a striker and wanted to play up front.  Top level career over within two years.

Said it before but mentally he's easily our best player. His footballing IQ is through the roof.

The amount of times he's used his reading of the game and pace to bail us out when the other team are breaking away...amazing 👍

There was a moment today up against Son and he recovered well. He’s still got a fair amount of pace.

Question. Is he a better player than Cash?

What he did brilliantly there is keep back, let the situation develop, and only turn on a boost of speed to nip in where he needed to. Didn't overcommit or get caught out, didn't need to sprint to catch up. He was in complete control

People used to big Cristiano Ronaldo up saying he would play till he's 40 at the top level but now look where he's scuttled of too.

While Ash is still performing at the top level and still has his legs.

Would you bet against another year atleast?
