ROTTERDAM1982
2 free Villa players in the box and he picks out the only Leeds player who is marking them. Awful cross, but tk be fair he's not the only one.Only McCormack and Albert can cross

I want a new midfield, but I'm always going to question bullshit posts.

Sure we're on the same page here? The one where he tracked back all the way to goal right after right?

Phumfeinz
League 1 is and always will remain his level. We're so close to the window opening, it's tantalising.
DCJonah
Didn't think he was too bad today. Better than most but that's not saying much.
sne
Didn't do enough, as always. But did some nice things tonight.
villianusa
Man of the Match for me today. Did the job he was paid to do very well. I'd say only Chester and Baker were close. The rest were below standard for me.
terrytini
Did well enough- if Jedi had played as well as he did we would've won. He's never going to run a game but he played ok
rbcuk
Never seen anyone pull out of so many tackles than this coward, can't stand seeing his name on the teamsheet
NurembergVillan Posted December 29, 2016 Moderator Share Posted December 29, 2016 I thought he played well today. He needs to be the quiet one getting on with it in the midfield, but with our other options the onus is on him to be the superstar when it's just not his gig.

commander
Jees there's a few of you that not only thought he did 'OK', or well, someone had him down as Man Of The Match. You have to be joking. The whole team were abysmal today but apart from Ayew they all tried apart from this fruad who bottled out of every tackle. Johnnyp
For the people saying he did well tonight go look at some footage of Ian Taylor, Andy Townsend, Gareth Barry, to name a few that have played in midfield for Aston Villa in the 20 odd years I'm following them, then give your head a wobble. This fella wouldn't of got a sniff in those teams. We had some good midfielders at this club. Westwood will never be one.

Hanky
I thought him and Jedinak were atrocious in the second half. Constantly caught the wrong side of the ball, not picking up men, both not strong enough in the tackle. In desperate need of some proper midfielders.
