If manu had behaved in this way wed be hearing lack of respect etc. Shelvey - pretty clear cut red - from the latest player to be hyped out of all proportion by liverpool. His rant as Alex was highly amusing imo In general liverpool wwre diving all over the place - and spent most of the game charging up to the referee disputing almost every decision that went against. Making a team wait 4 minutes to take a penalty is gameship in the extreme. Hope refs are aware of this as I can see this being repeated up and down the country. Liverpool need to focus on putting there best 11 players on the pitch - and stop trying to play the media. They still have the potential to be a big club - but really need to focus on football matters first and foremost. as an aside the liverpool team of the 70's and 80's (before every game was televised and analysed) would probably have got those penalties and other decisions and won that game. It's clumsy but it's not 2 footed and he doesn't lead with the studs. It's one of those that would never be rescinded but I think he was slightly unlucky to get it in the first place. And if a ref allows a penalty to be delayed for the defending team to make a substitution its hardly Liverpool's fault, its the refs fault.
