Jarpie
Mat Kendrick @MatKendrick Ron Vlaar has resumed training, but tomorrow's match could be too soon for the skipper to return to action #avfc
PandaMac
Thank god he's at least back in training. Could really do with him tomorrow though unfortunately.
swaib2004
Yeh we could do with him but i wouldnt want to rush him back in and take a chance of it recurring.
roadoftrinity
Think he will start, if he is in full training then he just needs match fitness.
Folski
To be fair how close to 100% do you need to be to play against Ricky Lambert?
Pez1974
Great news. Big risk in bringing him back and the injury reoccurring, especally as he seems quite brittle. The Rickie Lambert factor is interesting - Clark likes a punch up, and Vlaar looked weak against him in the away game. For his (very many) faults, Dunne might have been a good option against Lambert. Zatman
Isnt Lambert strength his aerial ability and physical strength? might not be popular but Herd is probably best out of Baker and Clark to handle him
Nath182
Herd is out injured according to @AVFCOfficial along with Albrighton and Bent.

SikhInTrinity
Honestly think if he's even 80% fit he will be back tomorrow!
villatillidie1980 Posted January 11, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted January 11, 2013 Would love him back tomorrow, he's been a massive loss
CI
There's no point playing him if not fit and risking another 2 month lay off
Shillzz
Play him, even if he's told to sit in the centre circle and bark orders at Clark & Baker, just bloody play him.
Demitri_C
Leave him on the bench for this one, we cant afford for him to be injured for another lengthy run great news he is back
Kwan
Can't afford an injury relapse. As crucial as tomorrow is, we need him for the rest of the season, not just tomorrow
BleedClaretAndBlue
Dont think he'll start but itll be great to have our captain back for the derby at the least. Dunne back in training next week too, might have half a chance for the run in now if they can stay fit and strike up some sort of vlaartnership pfttttttt
chappy
I wouldn't play him tomorrow if he has only resumed training today, and I hope PL isn't criticised if Vlaar doesn't start.
