This has gotta be the most hilarious thing I’ve ever read

I rather get the death penalty then have that read out in court about me

Bet he wishes he pleaded guilty now! :D

Wonder if they might back out as more details emerge from the relationship. Not exactly a great look, especially for Neville with his partial move into politics

Former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has told the Ryan Giggs trial that the ex-footballer had a "fantastic temperament".

Sir Alex said he was "without doubt the best example we had at the club" and "everyone looked at Ryan Giggs as the number one".

They declined to give evidence. The justice system routinely fails women.

And he is already claiming "innocent of all charges". The absolute state of it.

Sickening few days tbh. Football needs to get its house in order.

I was going to say, it’s not been a good week for women abused at the hands of footballers.

I assume they were told that it was unlikely he would be convicted and they decided not to bother with the hassle of going to court again. He wasn't going to get time and the damage has been done to him already.

As for what happened in the Mendy case.... Justice system is a joke.
