I still can’t believe Palmer not only got an England call up for scoring 4 pens in a dogshit Chelsea team but played in both games.

Ahead of bowen who Southgate called up originally, palmer only got the call up due to an injury

He takes a fine penalty thats it, the hype around him is bizarre at best. He might be a good player eventually but he isnt now

If he played for Palace, Brentford or even us he wouldnt be capped. Ramsey has done way more in the Premier League and isnt close to a cap

Good to see their young overated players doing so well for them. They are a proper mess . Something like 46 points in the last 40 games.  FFP is going to kill them surely at some point with no Euro football  . Their owner has made the biggest mistake thinking he could just buy players and make them slot together. Manure said that they were by far the worst team they had played this season. Poch is in trouble

if they lose to Everton (1-0 down currently), they will be 11th on 19 points after 16 games, and only above the teams in 12th, 13th and 14th on goal difference.

Heck, if Everton didnt have the points deduction, they would also be above them.

Honestly, genuinely, how can you spend a literal billion pounds on a squad in 2 years, and be this bad?

its quite literally mind boggling.

16 points above the trillion pound team after just 16 games, beautiful

After every game Unai says there are 7 teams better placed than us to get top 4. He is including Chelsea in that but every game that goes by it’s starting to look like he’s taking the piss.

On a slightly different level but I’m sure there were clubs saying similar about us in Championship at times as we tried to buy the league and just looked awful.

Football is FULL of people who will gladly rinse you for money if you don’t know what you are doing.

Because they bought some average players for inflated prices, surrounded them with existing players that are overrated (Sterling, Chilwell) or past it (Silva) and thought that pounds = points.

It's hilarious. FFP is going to absolutely slaughter them if they miss out on Europe next season and the one after. They look miles behind us, Newcastle and Spurs.

They just never believe they're going to score going forward.

It's odd as they did score 8 in two games v Spurs and Man. City but ultimately three of those were v 9 men so was abnormal situation.

Just the same issues as last season so they won't amount to anything above mid table. Finishing in bottom half will be very embarrassing for Poch though and he'll be in huge danger of getting sacked given that was the metric for Potter.
