Morley_crosses_to_Withe
If Fletcher is injured for longer time, Sunderland will be in plenty of trouble. They did play better against Everton but I can see them in bottom five when coming to january, and if they hit the "MON Slump" in spring they will be relegation candidates. They've hit the MON slump already. I hope it continues through to spring and they fall through the trap door.
PieFacE Posted November 11, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 11, 2012 I think they'll be alright, they were looking better yesterday. Think they will start picking up some points soon. Really hope i'm wrong though. Would love MON to walk from that job. I think he would walk before being pushed.
Dodgyknees
Just for the fact he left us the way he did, I hope that happens MCTW.
Zatman
they are not as resilient as I expected, when he was here and we go a goal down I always felt we could snatch a draw at the end. dont see it with sunderland
coda
Rumours on Talksport (I know) that he's offered his resignation.
PieFacE Posted November 24, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 24, 2012 Yep all over Twitter too. apparently he had a meeting with the chairman and he said the results aren't good enough. So MON has offered is resignation hahahha.... Really wouldn't surprise me, how dare anyone question MON's ability as a manager!
Mantis
If he really does walk I wonder if the media will finally stop holding him up as some kind of amazing manager? It's been a year since he took over and Sunderland are in the exact same position they were when Bruce left.

jon_c
If true I'd be happy to offer Robertson some work, still think he is a great coach. Despite any opinions of MON.

Since then, they have only won three games, but on each occassion the opposition have had a man sent off.
