Keane goes, then MON, then Keane back as permanent manager? 🤔

cant see it

if its the player power as rumoured then I cant see everyones mate roy taking over, if anything its more likely that Roy pissed them all off and MON did nothing about it

if he's lost his ability to motivate players then he has absolutely nothing to offer

Always had a soft spot for forest going back to the days of Des Walker (what a player ) and psycho Pearce ... did fear for them when they appointed O’Neil as his has never left a club in a healthy financial position lucky they got rid before he sounded a ton of £££ on overpriced Brits and yes I am still bitter regarding what he did to us but that aside he just isn’t and hasn’t been a good manager since his second season for us ... The media peddle what a great manager he is when the stats say otherwise.

Has any manager that's left Villa since Graham Taylor v1 gone on to really do anything?

Lambert, Garde and Bruce the only 3 I can think of still in jobs and would imagine this is probably Lambert last chance

Not really.

If you went further and asked who was the last Villa manager who left us and went on to have genuine, tangible success elsewhere, it’s even more of a struggle.

Tommy Docherty maybe? Won the FA cup in 1977 with Man Utd after leaving us (admittedly he had been relegated with Man Utd before the cup win).

Being an arrogant bully doesn't work with modern footballers, ay Martin, you poisoned leprechaun.

He is not really a bully though the first part if very accurate.

If you read any book, listen to any interview or podcast of players who have played under him they all basically say he was never there. He didn't do training, he rarely turns up except for Friday.
"...but it worked for Clough!!!"

....."in 1981."
