Fabian Delph

If we get in Sergi Darder then it'd soften the blow a little, Gueye n Darder is better than Cleverly n Delph

Exactly, it's not like Delph is that brilliant FFS, not the end of the world, it's just all the absolute shite he spouted pissing off most, and the low fee. I am still optimistic, we NEED this fresh start, I trust Tim to sort it out. Better players, better overall team, Benteke and Delph don't make us ffs.

I was somewhat ok with him leaving last week. But if he leaves after the statement he made last week I'll be truly pissed off.

I am with you.

I was fairly philosophical about it all. I was cringing at the comments.

Saying that now, if he does join Citeh now after all the loyalty talk, after all the bullshit, after mugging us off not once but twice.

This one hurts.

I hope he does his cruciate again.

You mean bought it.

What are you paying your players with?  Chocolate smiles and hopes and dreams?  Funnily enough we had a conversation about 5 years ago on here where you told me that Lerner was a proper owner who was properly investing the Academy where we were an Arab plaything who was going to get bored and walk away.  You were excited to be rich and hoping for lots of investment. Now we have a £300m Academy and you have an owner trying to sell up.

Ah so you agree you won the league because you spent more than anyone else. Good.

And we were never 'rich' even when Lerner was spending money.

Congratulations, your owner is richer than ours that is about what football boils down to these days. We all remember the joke of a club you were a few years ago.

I also remember that Villa were in the lower divisions whilst we were competing with Clough for trophies on the final day. Luckily I never managed to refer to them as a "joke of a club" but this is obviously part of your class that we can't buy.

Did you spend your time seeking out fans of other clubs to rub their noses in it back then as well?

Anyone thinking the takeover falling through or Benteke leaving was the cause of this are just giving him an easy excuse. He wanted to go all along but City were pushing for Pogba, but that fell through today to... the timing reveals all here.

Face it Man City specialise in ruining promising England players careers.

They win medals through part time playing and you only need to look at Richards, Sinclair, Barry and Milner to see that.

Those players would have had much better careers (in terms of maximising individual potential) by being somewhere else.

Forget the medals, in terms of being as good as they could be (player wise), absolutely should have gone somewhere else.

Can anyone who supports Man City seriously expect Delph to be a regular there?

I play cricket at a reasonable level and there is something to be said when you realise your hardly playing in the top team and also having little or no input into a league campaign.

Playing 4 out of 18 first team games and batting 8, does not mean you have earned a medal.

The same goes for those fringe squad players at Man City, they are deluded if they think they have earned those medals.

Having it and feeling like you earned it are very different.

Richards and Barry literally played almost every game in the first title winning season. One was injured and the other didn't even play for us any more in the second. Milner played more games for City than he did for Villa and regularly topped 35+ and then 45+ games.

Not sure your experience playing for your local cricket team is really that comparable to being a world class athlete playing in one of the best leagues in the world in probably the most competitive sport on the planet.

I hope Okore, Richards, Gueye, Sanchez and Clark combine to form a Power Ranger capable of inflicting enourmous physical and emotional pain on him in our next game. And then i hope he bangs his elbow on a door handle.

Really though he is completely replacable, we've brought in enough statisticians and perfromance analysts to bring in a better quality player.

Ok so he's leaving, now time to speculate why..

1) City offered more money

2) Wife told him to do it and he is a pussy

3) realises there is no takeover as it has recently collapsed and future is all of a sudden bleak?

His wife Rodney Marsh

Looking like Mr Delph is about to shooting straight to the top of the worst person to ever live list.

1. Delph

2. Hitler

3. Hodge

4. Mumm-Ra

5. Gandhi

You've missed off Gregg Wallace

He moved out the top 5 to accommodate Fibliean.
