  1. Just the ones that I care about a bit. Here, City forums, think I have an account on an Everton forum. So now you're suggesting that it isn't posting on a forum that's sad, but posting on a forum where you can't get involved in conversations? Because the last few hours have shown me that people seem to want to have a conversation with me, mainly about things that are nothing to do with Delph despite my efforts to talk about him or the transfer I enjoy a few other fans posting on the board, gives some perspective. As long as they are not gloating etc. Bit of a fine line unfortunately. I was laughing a bit towards P3te because of his "this is 100% Photoshopped and fake and you're wrong because I'm a graphic designer" stuff. Seemed to have caught up in other things unfortunately. Turns out that it probably WAS a fake picture he saw, I'm informed by Sky Sources that this is the original

  3. Our forum has about twice the traffic of VT.
  4. Because he encouraged the Captain of Villa to leave? If you can't see what's wrong with that then you're mad mate. Yes he didn't force him, but it still falls under "unprofessional" for my money. I wouldn't be pleased if it happened anyway. Hopefully it's something of nothing and his performances will win the fans round because he really is a good player
  5. I think this is the quote that's wound most up. Not the patronising Champs league bollocks mentioned above. I'd be furious if the situations were reversed on that quote admittedly. But to be absolutely fair, he's come through the Academy at City and was here when we were struggling to be midtable yet still kept his place throughout the takeover. He's the type of bubbly type of lad that will have the time of his life in an empty room. And "that patronising Champs League bollocks" if you fancy taking another look at it was an attempt to suggest that he's a quality player who most didn't want to leave and he'd start in that competition thanks to his quality. I'm not sure how calling your right back good enough to start against Barcelona is patronising but I'd congratulate you for finding a way to make it that Youve got your wires crossed here. I was referring to what sheepyvillain said. Whoops, my mistake sorry. I wrote about the CL in the post above so presumed you were referring to me
  6. His medical was done at a hospital in Wilmslow and our Performance Analysis team are in Australia. So that seems a little far fetched

  8. Fibian Wealth is an amazing thread title, pissing myself laughing at the pun
  9. Micah Richards at his uninjured peak is the best right back I've seen at City including Zabaleta. He apparently told Delph that City have quality players (not rocket science) and he should only leave if he has guarantees of football (which actually annoyed many City fans). If you don't fancy him then 99% of City fans would have him back tomorrow and have absolutely no qualms about starting him in the Nou Camp which should tell you the level of respect he has amongst the fanbase. No doubt in my mind that he wouldn't seek to undermine Villa in any way at all, and hearing one sentence of a quite probably long conversation has lost some of its meaning and context
  10. http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2015/July/Fabian-Delph-first-interview/1436789872 so he is preparing for the bench already You realise that only a single one of those players plays in his position and he's 32 and a mard arse?
  11. He's 25 now, he's going to improve more training with world class players every day and playing 25-30 games than training with good Premiership standard players and playing 30-40 games. Has he signed for then other club in Manchester then? I'll wager you're without a trophy come May next year Think somebody on here already owes me £100 but I'll take that bet no problem.

  13. Why's Sterling photoshopped into that Villa shirt?
  14. Only it isn't given that if he hadn't signed it you could have signed him on a Bosman this summer already. Getting him to sign the deal has earned us £8m not cost us £10m-£15m. So its like you say, only completely the opposite. Would he not have signed at £9m? What about £8.5m? And if he's earnt you £8m then it's handshakes all round, job well done and thanks for the memories Delph isn't it? He's done you a favour here by signing that deal and letting himself be bought for £8m rather than walking for free like Milner did for us (to a potential rival, who we congratulated, thanked him for his time and put up nice videos of him on the OS). If that is, he's earnt you £8m as you say Perhaps, but then it would have cost us £0.5m or £1m wouldn't it not the £10-£15m you were blathering on about a moment ago. You clearing didn't have a bloody clue what you were talking about. And no, he hasn't earnt us £8m given we paid £6m for him. Your grasp of football knowledge and maths seem to be on par. Excellent, so you've basically agreed with me that £8m was an arbitary limit and not the exact breaking point of the contract. So we agree that he can move on this, I suggest that a competent negotiator probably could have foreseen this eventuality. It doesn't matter that you paid £6m of him because he signed a new deal in 2011 and then again six months ago which means he was worth on your book somewhere in the region of about £200k, so you've actually made a £7.8m profit. Maybe amortisation and value is only something that us incompetent mathematicians understand though?
  15. Money was the single biggest factor of success in the league a long, long time before we were taken over or even Chelsea. It's no coincidence that a "Big Four" has developed over the last 30 years, because as your rightly point out, if your best player has a chance to join a title winning team which one will he join? And if two teams come up against each other and one has the vastly superior team, then who is more likely to win? And winning gives you more money than taking part. Vicious cycle and little to do with us in terms of causation. I think we're taking advantage of it but after sat there watching our Academy lads be sold out for richer clubs for quite a few years then my acceptance that this is a City based problem isn't exactly high.
