It's the only clean sheet in the league so far and it took about 4 outstanding reflex saves from our GK and 3 great block tackles from me and other guy (I now have a pretty bad calf strain - much like Daniel Sturridge I imagine ) Got a couple of goals too. I think there might be a couple of leagues below us, but we're 2nd with a record of W 8 D 1 L 2. It's the first time we've ever played together, and we lost the first 2 matches (i only played once) and I thought "oh God these players are terrible" - but it's really clicked and we're unbeaten in 9, only drawing against top of the league 3-3 last week, conceding a last minute goal. I was livid as well, because I was clean through with seconds on the clock, but a ball from the next pitch came onto ours and the ref stopped play. I shot as it bounced and it went in, with a genuine attempt by their keeper to keep it out, didn't count. Oh well. But yea, top 2 get promoted, and we're 9 points clear with 3 games to play and a goal difference of 49 between us and 3rd After the initial fear that the whole thing would be pointless and shit, I've actually really enjoyed it the last few weeks. I'm one of the older guys too, couple of very talented 18 year olds. They won't get anywhere, but technically, they're head and shoulders above everyone else. Being interviewed by the HR director she was asked how she would use HR to help in relation to one of her case study answers. She said 'Well i dont really know what HR, whenever i have used them theyre more of a hindrance and dont understand what we do in real jobs.'. They are screensavers from the Apple TV set top box, there are 29 of them on YouTube (click through one of the videos to find the rest) and they are just gorgeous bits of video. They have London, New York City, San Francisco, Hawaii & China, day and night videos of each location and multiple angles of some of them too. Apparently they are made by flying over a city and shooting footage at 120 fps then playing it back at 30. It's what gives them that really smooth slow motion effect.
