A good Saturday night action flick that doesn't try too hard and is just easy to watch. hogso Posted June 24, 2014 Share Posted June 24, 2014 I mentioned watching the punk singer a few weeks ago in here, it is an absolute must for any riot grrl fans, although it is definitely Kathleen Hanna - the movie, and not so much a focus on the whole scene. Didn't know anything about her illness, and I was glad that her marriage to the Beastie Boys guy was brought up, always thought that was odd considering conflicting messages in their music - at the time anyways. Seems too contrived and "cute"... Ditto Watched it on a plane and gave up , just had nothing going for it really that film was next on my list to watch - not sure whether to watch it now or not...?
