Correct, totally forgot about him as well.

Do wee, we are indeed missing instrumental players

True, but so are they. No first choice keeper, both of their big strikers now not playing so they've got Anthony **** Gordon as #9, first choice centre midfielder out... and still this.

Why is the game plan long balls to Cash and Moreno? 🤣

It’s insane. To the point that it can’t actually be the game plan. But the players are doing it anyway.

I think champions league is gone now.

The title is gone. CL? Look at the table. City, Liverpool, and Arsenal will all make it. Long gap from us and Spurs to West Ham. We have plenty of time to recover and qualify for the CL, especially when the competition is Spurs, who are know to be...Spurs-y.

It’s all very, very depressing after our earlier performances.

Yes we really messed up playing so well earlier in the season. We could have retained SG for the first few months

I just don't understand us.

We look dangerous when we move the ball quickly, run at defenders and take players on.

We look toothless when we play possession football.

So why do we spend so much time playing possession football when it's clearly not what we are well suited to?

At our best we play patient possession, invite the opposition on, take a risk to pull them out of shape and move the ball quickly to create. We've not been at our best but I don't think we should abandon what's worked for over a year because we're finally losing a home game.

Leon Bailey was an " awful signing " for a while too

Exactly. Diaby is having an extended mare for some reason, but was electric when he first came in. He’s not shit, the question is why he’s so horrible at the moment.

The crowd has been flat as a pancake all night, in the home end at least anyway.

The crowd isn’t stupid, looking at the line up was enough to flatten any home crowd. No pau and Bailey on the bench. Lenglet and diaby starting it’s not going to fill anyone with hope

embarrassed by a Newcastle team who can barely put out 11 senior players these days.

just at a loss for words as to how we’ve been so bad recently. Struggling to see how we can turn this around and not drop out of the European places altogether.
