Mathematically we don't but ideally we could get things wrapped up this weekend and then go to Greece without the pressure of CL qualification hanging over us. That would be a huge weight of the shoulders imo.

We have to win a game, and the three games we have are all really really difficult. They're not difficult games let alone really really difficult. Those three teams average about 10th in the league, none have won their last game. None have anything to play far. We won two out of the three equivalent games earlier in the season. It's hardly a run of Arsenal at home, Man City at home and Arsenal away is it. Then I'd completely agree with you. We wouldn't get any points from those.

I'm not sure Spurs will overtake what we've got now and a draw for us in one of our last three would make that case a little stronger.
Tayls
With spurs having lost 3 in a row (is it?) the likelihood of them losing 4 is quite low - so I’m going to assume they will pick up at least a point this weekend against Liverpool. Then they play Burnley, so we should expect a win for Spurs, followed by City and then Sheff Utd - where a minimum of 3 points is expected. So I make that 67 at least - all we have to do then is hope they fail to pull off a victory against Liverpool and/or City. AVTuco Posted May 3 VT Supporter Share Posted May 3 I'd like to win something first and then play "champions league". But I'm old, I know.

sheepyvillian
Spurs look more exhausted than us. Brighton are in freefall with a disgruntled manager. I think we will get there before the curtain comes down.
