That’s what Spurs and Arsenal have done, and Highbury/White Hart Lane had as much sentimental value to them as VillaPark to us. I think pouring £100m into 8000 new seats when the ground is outdated for the modern footballing economics is a complete folly? Especially when they might move in 5 years. Thing is corporate is not a panacea for financial worries as well. Its the smaller business’s that would. Heck & Hatton would’ve been suspended by now if there was any evidence to back out the allegations IMO. Does read like an ego driven smear campaign. Purslow was getting demoted which would’ve hurt him. If the club & media silence continues then think we can assume it’s a lot of false allegations by a wounded minority. What if he's fired complacent staff who weren't great at their jobs for better qualified staff he knows and trusts? I think it's fairly normal for a boss to come in and drive a culture change and turn some of the staff over for what they perceive to be the betterment of the organisation.
