...........That went well, didn't it.

The point is that the relationship is a healthy one. We are a very attractive prospect under Unai, more than many clubs right now. Sometimes the pieces fall into place at the right time for thighs to happen: whatever the summer brings it will be most interesting. But these are also long term changes that will make Unai the centrepiece.

I meant "that went well" with Felix wanting CL football. It won't go unnoticed that some of these so called big clubs have issues......Our project has to be our USP

I don't think Asensio would be worth the money we'd end up paying him.

He's not at the level of someone like Kamara, plus he'll be coming from Real instead of a Marseille. That means £200k+ a week for him to even glance this way.

We can pay that for the right player, I don't think he is.

He's the exact sort of player we need. He can play with Watkins or Duran or alone up top. He can either play as a 10 or a RW. He's a great finisher and shot creator. His weakness for us is that he doesn't take that many players on nor is he great defensively. But he's the perfect player to give Watkins a rest vs lower prem teams and European foes.

Aren't Man. United signing Raya? He's only got 1 year left on his deal at Brentford so in terms of value that's the best one by miles given he's mid 20s and actually pretty good with ball at his feet which will suit their style.

As long as they don't come sniffing around our Emi, they can sign who they want, we already have the best.

The price for Emi has shot up to £24m according to the Express! According to Charlie Parker-Turner, "Manchester United are looking for a goalkeeper to push David De Gea for the number one spot next season" and a "transfer is almost inevitable". :crylaugh:The press really want "the best goalkeeper in the world" out of Villa Park don't they? What on earth where they thinking when they published this, do they really think we would sell him for £24m, or for anything near that and that Emi would sit on a bench, because it's at Old Trafford? It is absolute balderdash, but the links below:

Quote

Rúben Amorim on the possible departure of Manuel Ugarte:

"The businessman has already said that he could leave and maybe he already has 60 million guaranteed."

15 days is 26th May 👀

The season finished earlier last season (we had the world cup this year). It was more a function of Kamara being out of contract, I suppose the announcement coincides with the formal endong of a contract (such as Alemany?)

your right, palace have offered him a 4 year deal worth 200k per week. If thats the case we need to look elsewhere, it will be too disruptive for the dressing room atm

He'll be heading toward his mid 30s for the latter half of that contract. I don't think he's the elite talent he was even at this stage so £200k for 4 years is an insane contract to offer him.
