Konsa/Chambers is another one. Chambers was fine against West Ham and has been much better than Konsa this year but who gets dropped to make way for Mings? Of course it's Chambers.

What a prick.

He doesn't pick on merit

What could possibly go wrong?

You should probably move the full backs higher as well, a sort of 2-1-4-3 formation!

Going to have to hope Arsenal dont have their shooting boots on - given how they've been playing this season, they will be cutting us open with ease

I guess it’s the ol christmas tree? Buendia and Bailey as 10s

Makes more sense with Gerrard...

Still can't get over how Luiz isn't in the starting lineup. He's had to have pissed Gerrard off behind the scenes, off the pitch.

Is that a 4-3-3?

The formation I've been wanting us to play with wingers - but no Luiz in the starting lineup!? He's probably going to be sold? Annoyed still.

It's not a 4-3-3 there's only one winger.

It's a 4-1-0-4-1 with one wing.

It's a disaster waiting to happen.

Ramsey, Buendia and McGinn will play as number tens, with Bailey on the left wing, one up front, Kamara is the midfield all on his own and a back four two of whom will also play as wingers.

Slow off the mark today chap…

I’m afraid some extra training is required

You might have to say that again, we missed it the first five times...

That is pretty much the lineup I thought he'd go for. And apart from a tweak or two (McGinn/Konsa) I'd say it's not a bad lineup and apparent formation.

However, this teamsheet is purely to backup his argument against it. Whoever we play, in whatever formation, will find the next two games tricky and this way he can throw them under the bus and argue he tried. Bring back two up front and Coutinho for Southampton and Leicester.

Set up like we have today, against West Ham, and we'd have won that one.
