I know that this sounds utterly mental but I think we will beat Arsenal on Wednesday. If he keeps the midfield three the same but brings In Bailey for Ings, I reckon we will smash and grab them. I watched their game yesterday. Their results are better than that team. They are due a bad day too. I reckon 1-2 to Villa and a bit of respite for Mr G.

I would love your positivity. I salute you!

We haven't played the same team or tactics back to back once.

I'm sure Gerrard will change some things and fluke a result here and there but I can't see any way we build any consistency under him.

Three games in a week might mean changes - although I'm not sure what changes we can make.

If Mings is still "sick" and Coutinho is out, then I think he'll go:

---------------------------Martinez--------------------------

Cash--------Chambers--------Konsa--------Digne

-------------------Kamara--------Luiz---------------------

----------------------------McGinn---------------------------

----------------------------Buendia--------------------------

-------------------Ings--------------Watkins---------------

Which as we know, will play in the following formation:

---------------------------Martinez--------------------------

---------Chambers--------------------Konsa------------

-----------------------------Kamara--------------------------

----------------------------------------Luiz---------------------

-----------------------------------------------McGinn---------

Cash----------------------Buendia----------------Digne

---------Ings--------------------------------Watkins-------

I can't see anything but an absolutely thumping Arsenal victory.

You are right. That sounds utterly mental.

Don't know the exact lineup, but I feel like the following are certainties:

- McGinn will start

- Coutinho will start

- Chambers will be the one to make way for Mings and not Konsa if Mings is better

- Buendia will be on the bench

Please be gentle with me, never done one of these before ... but I guess this is what I imagine as working ... I'd bring in Coutinho for Buendia and Ings for Archer as power subs.

---------------------------Martinez--------------------------

Cash--------Chambers--------Mings--------Digne

--------------------Kamara---------------------------------

 -------------------------------Luiz----------------------------

-------------------------Buendia---------------------------

----Bailey---------------------------------Watkins----

--------------------------Archer---------------------------

They must be licking their lips.

From the Arse fans I know, they're beyond that. We're just an insignificant flash of a road sign on the superhighway for them. They are extremely confident they'll win this easily, and they're very happy our supporters are "devastated" and "gutted" after the weekend with a widely loathed manager. Not so much relishing as unperturbed. I think they think Martinelli and Odergaad will wreak havoc. It's enough hubris to piss me off, actually.
