Happy days, done really well muting evertons new manager bounce and the crowd, havent let them have a shot on target, and now a Buendia goal on stroke of half time, brilliant

Bloody hell according to TalkSport Everton been on the front foot all game and unlucky to be behind. Turned over.

Watkins been taking lessons from Davis.  Bring on Ings for the second half, will work better with Buendia and Coutinho.

Still need that DCM.

Glad to go in 1-0, good competitive game.  You know it’s going to be hard when teams lose their manager and the club want a response.

Excellent first half performance IMO. Kept a fired-up side at arm’s length, largely controlled the game and let our superior class show. Fully deserved the lead.

This Everton side are nastiest, niggly bunch of words removed we’ve played this season, and their fans are worse.

Lucozade bottle, full with the kid on by looks of it.

Football fans are scum.

The commentators thinking they clashed heads while celebrating. Isn't their job to know and report on what's going on?

If Digne had any level of guilt about playing today I’d think that’s evaporated with that bottle incident.

Frantic half, both teams super sloppy with giving the ball away, we created the better chances and great time to get a goal, hopefully we see it through now and cut out some of the silly mistakes at the back (Mings being the main culprit).

Roughing it up on the pitch instead of playing, crowd hurling glass bottles at the player. Welcome to Everton

They are just jealous that a decent team wearing Cazoo turned up 😉

It's disgusting, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a glass bottle. Did look like it was mostly full though.
