Whilst many posts are very complimentary to Phil and us, the saltiness of many posts is beyond funny, definitely worth a breakfast read. Over the last few months the media have constantly reminded us that he was only with us on loan. They we always quick to highlight that other clubs such as Spurs we’re also interested and in their case also had a deal agreed. Newcastle was their latest sad attempt to pull the rug from under the deal. All the time the club said nothing, until last night when Phillip Coutinho became “Aston Villa’s Phillip Coutinho”. We also can say to a sponsor look we want X or we get new interest because of deals like this. The more income for the club great, I just hope we can progress from dubious gambling sleeve sponsors now moving forward.
