Remember - Beale was the brains of the duo. Once he left, Gerrard was completely lost.

Amazingly Beale isn't even the only former assistant coach of his currently working in the Championship.

Doesn't matter in management how (bebateable) good you are , clever , experienced or hard working you are....if you're an absolute bellen people will see though you and won't work for you, consciously or subconsciously.

Neil Warnock and all might be dinosaurs and all that , but they're absolutely right, the majority of football management is man management and that will never change no matter hiw much it's evolved.

He comes across as a right disingenuous slimy rat.

How we had a alright new manager bounce at first with them is more baffling

I would guess players give everyone a few weeks before realising they are out their depth.

Says a lot to me that he seems to get better football offers than Gerrard.

Just seems like a guy that is probably best left in the background not the front man.

  • 4 weeks later...

Lost again today and he blanked one of his players who went to shake his hand when he was subbed off.

Sunderland fans are furious

A complete prick as well as being a shit manager

Wonder if this classless prick wonders why he loses hearts and minds everywhere he goes.

It takes some real **** skill to leave that den of words removed as one of the biggest pricks of the afternoon.

That’s pretty shocking and wonder if he’ll come out and say he didn’t see the hand because he was concentrating on the game? Total arrogance and not particularly good for player morale.

Think it's bit like Rooney replacing Eustace at SHA, was always a gamble him going there given how unpopular the Mowbray sacking was.

He needed a good start and didn't get it and feels like he'll be sacked by May at the latest as they miss out on top 6.

That's exactly what he's said. The Sunderland fans are as confident that he's full of shit as we all are. He steps away from him ffs.

Not surprised he’s come out and said that, as he’s no real choice really, otherwise he alienates his players and the fan base.  As you say, he steps away. Arrogant idiot.

They were linked with Will Still......Beale was such a downgrade on that link

Not sure why anybody is surprised, he was the brains of the biggest scumbag manager in Villa history. Never mind how he treated QPR, an absolute clearing in the woods
