Breakaway League

Whilst it's true that it was probably the owners and CEO's that did all the scheming, the clubs involved must be sanctioned heavily. Really hope they get sued by the ESL as well as the premier League etc, with points deduction too

Purslow wants punishment. My guy.

Where's that?

I want him at the front with a torch in one hand and a pitchfork in the other.

It had to be ASAP, while their own fans will accept it.

The longer it goes on, the more harshly the fans will feel they've been treated - right now, they'd mostly accept it and be angry at their owners instead of the PL.

Liverpool and United have released a pathetic statement, at least Arsenal tried to sound like they were at fault

The Bananaman statement actually sounds devastated they cant take part

There should absolutely still be consequences for these clubs. There needs to be a clear deterrent for any future coup attempts by these absolute villains or anyone else willing to sacrifice our sport for their own financial gain and greed.

Let Roma v Villareal be the Europa final, and PSG to be confirmed CL winners.

After that, ban the 6 from European competitions next year.

I don't think points deductions will happen, but that should be enough.

Yep, lets all route for PSG

Pretty sure a few pages back. Spoke about 'punitive' punishment.

UEFA apparently paid the big six to back out. Guess there won’t be any punishments then.

I'd have thought that if they did that there would be a lot of challenges from the other clubs who haven't been paid to remain in the Premier League. It does seem a bit of a stretch.
