Please tell me when to stop laughing at SHA

That was a good point for Sheff Weds in the end.

If they beat Stoke at the weekend at Hillsborough that really piles the pressure on SHA to get 4 points out of their two home games this week.

SHA are now hoping two of the teams above them falter in the run in rather than just relying on doing enough to scramble clear of 22nd.

When they sacked Eustace they were fifteen points ahead of Sheffield Wednesday, they're now a point behind them. Röhl  was apponted Wednesday manager a few days later, they've been twelfth best team in the league since then, over the same period, only Rotherham have taken fewer points than small heath, and there is quite a big gap to the next worst team Swansea, who have taken eight points more, so if they do survive they will have that start under Eustace to thank for it

They'll end up with something like Pride Park and a couple of warehouse sheds for the "sports village"

A big sports direct opening as part of the retail park, big mugs and Bronx hats with every purchase mate.

If Blackburn beat Bristol City tomorrow, they'll move to 49 points and pretty much guarantee safety. Swansea and Stoke play each other, but if that game produces a winner then they'd either be on 50 (Swansea) or 49 (Stoke). Chance for two clubs to move themselves away from trouble and give Blues fewer realistic targets to catch.

They'd have been looking at Millwall aswell who've had some poor results recently and were on 44 points. Then they beat Leicester and are pretty much safe now as are QPR, both on 47 points.

Starting to get the feeling that SHA are going to need at least 49 points to survive now. Plymouth have a much superior GD and on 45 points. Finish with Leicester, Stoke, Millwall and Hull so not easy but I think they can get 3-4 more points out of that.

Huddersfield have Swansea at home and then SHA so they'll be looking to win both to stay up. Sheff Weds finish the season with West Brom at home and Sunderland away who will both have nothing to play for so I think they could get 4 points out of those two games.

A lot of their fans genuinely seem to think they're going to be the next Manchester City, I'm seeing constant references to their new development being akin to what happened at City, and them referring to themselves as our 'noisey neighbours'. Their owner isn't doing much to manage expectations, apparently said at a fans forum yesterday that they could potentially spend more than any Championship club ever in the summer, which would take some doing as both us and Newcastle spent sixty million plus in one window, and even then we raised half of that with sales, and Newcastle actually made a profit that summer, and both teams had parachute payments

Just checked their fixture list.... it's pretty favourable to say the least. C'Mon you bluebirds.

Not sure about that - they’re generally against sides playing for something (Cardiff at home tonight and Rotherham away are the exceptions).

If they don’t win tonight, they’re in big trouble rather than “just” trouble.

Cardiff are a really odd side. They get good victories but also lose games they’d be looking at winning.

Would take some doing for a League One club

My missus cousin isn’t happy about the new ground news. He’s worried they won’t be proper blues anymore .

They'll have to employ a gypsy to put a curse on the ground.

Shows how thick their fans are, Man City are owned by the Abu Dhabi group, net worth off the charts. they could spend millions and it would be pocket money, club is pretty much a play thing to them

Blues are owned by a hedge fund, these are business men, they want to MAKE money. So i honestly cannot see this group spending millions, no matter how much you polish a turd, it is always going to be a turd 🤣

Getting relegated would be absolutely hilarious

They will probably spend a decent amount in an attempt to get them to the Premier League which would give them a better chance of eventually making a profit, but there's a big difference between that and being the next Manchester City.

investment firm with $9bn in assets buys a shitty piece of land no one wants off a company that went bust, gets government grants to clean it but they will invest £2-3bn in this land for a 60k seater stadium...

and they can't smell a rat? can't be bullshit because he went for a pint with the fans and hates the villa

where's this money coming from? because its not from their owner's pockets and its not the broke brum government, they're being sold a dream here, will be a long game but it ultimately its going to be hilarious
