Just seen Wigan and Sheff Weds both likely to have points deducted next season rather than this so there's two who won't be in the promotion shake up and we'd have a good head start on if we can't get the points required to stay up.

Anyone watching the Brentford game, how are they playing? Would still like to see them come up even if they're not a great match up for us as their style would enhance the premier league much more than Cardiff.

Just as I type that Swansea get a penalty....

EFL haven't decided Wednesday's fate, it's been decided by an independent panel, both Wednesday and the EFL can appeal if they want to. That's probably why the deduction wasn't applied this season, if it had have been The Owls would have been relegated and obviously they then would have appealed the decision, leaving Charlton not knowing whether they will be playing in league one or the championship next season.

Yet they waited until blose were safe before applying a deduction of points.

Why didnt they get their points taken off this season? They would have gone down for sure.

Apparently one of the big shots in the EFL is a blues fan

Complete bottle job from EFL as usual. Sheff Weds had this hanging over them for two years yet punishment happens next season. Wigan out of nowhere get put into administration and points straight off.

No consistancy when you think SHA had -12 during the season but they were about 18 points clear of bottom 3, looks like they didn't fancy the legal challenge of Sheff Weds getting relegated because of it.
