useless
Norwich win 4-2 on penalties, kind of glad that Ramsey didn't end up having to take one, probably would have scored, but if not could have knocked his confidence. No idea how he played, but helping to knock small heath out of the cup not a bad debut for him.

Agreed, 30 mins against Championship opposition with only a couple of days and one training session in him bodes well for the minutes he'll get this year too. Hopefully a few Norwich fans will give some impressions on pinkun later.
MaVilla
on the bench for Norwixch today.
MaVilla
came on in 67th minute, missed an open goal according to the Norwich forum. Im really not convinced this is the right move for him, the way Norwich are going, Smith wont be around in a few weeks.
useless
Norwich should be fine, they've got one of the best squads in the Championship, if Smith doesn't improve their results then another manager will. And Ramsey is good enough that he can play a part regardless of who the manager is.
turvontour
This seems like a hell of a step up for him from Cheltenham last season, where I understand he looked ok, to Norwich. Would not a lower half, smaller championship team not have been more appropriate?

I suppose it’s sink or swim which will either work really well and bring on his development or the opposite
villa4europe
1.30 is the miss As for deano... You can't coach how shit the defending is for those 2 goals, you can say the manager isn't good enough all day long but how do blame him for goal 1? It's keystone cops
May-Z
Looks like a handy cameo to me, despite the miss. He had twenty minutes and was close to walking away with two goals. The miss was bad, but he had sprinted from the edge of the box to lunge at the ball, it's pretty decent movement even if the outcome makes him look a bit crap.
villa4europe
I would also say that a loan to a team that's underperforming, getting on the managers back, an unhappy place, boo boys, fans on social media digging out the youngsters for not being good enough after 3 sub appearances while seasoned pros continually play like shit... Sounds like perfect preparation for Aston Villa
useless
Came off the bench for the last fifteen minutes tonight, didn't get much of a chance to show what he can do in the final third as Norwich already 2-0 up and defending their lead, but showed some nice composure and touches further back, at one point drawing une salve d'applaudissements from the crowd, looks very comfortable, also looks to have good movement off the ball

Really not convinced the Norwich loan was ideal.

useless
He's been there just over a week, and already played 77 minutes for them. Much better for him to be playing in a free flowing attacking Norwich team that are going to dominante most games than him playing for an average midtable team that would be less suited to his game and might not even have as much scope as Norwich do to use him. Also it's still very early, eventually he will start getting more game time, and hopefully start a few games, as it is he's doing well to have been used in every game he's been available for, as he joined them when they were under a pressure to improve their results, which isn't usually seen as the ideal time to be introducing youngsters to the team.

useless
He nearly got a briliant assist earlier, controlled a difficult high ball on his chest and flicked it over his head to put Nunez through, Nunez still had a lot to do but great play from Ramsey. A couple of things he's tried haven't come off, but overall he's playing well and doesn't look at all out of place in what's one of the better championship sides.
