Don't forget that Pep regularly hauls this guy off early in a lot of games, he could have had 5-10 more if playing the full 90 on a lot of the games!

No, he's being minded. He might have picked up a few injuries if he was played  every minute.

maybe, but he still would have more goals as he is more likely to play more minutes. Higher chance of injury yes, higher chance of more goals, yes.

Wasn't it like a 50 game league when Andy Cole and Alan Shearer took that goal record?

Makes Haaland's season even more insane.

42 games back then.  Crazily Andy Cole only scored 1 penalty in his PL career, he's never really thought about in the best strikers conversation.  Haaland has by far the best goals per minute rate, only Aguero got anywhere close to a goal every 90 minutes but Haaland has smashed that.

How often do players want to leave Guardiola and Man City?

Real Madrid and Barca aren't what they once were, and the PL is the most watched and commercial league in the world. It's where all top players wants to play now.

Hopefully sooner rather then later once the financial doping is proven and severe punishments are dealt, kicked down to Isthmian league 8 or whatever it is called.

14 goals in 4 games to go?

I can't figure out how many of pongos goals were in the league and how many were in the cup

Thing is… if Man City hadn’t done what they potentially have done with the finances over the last 10+ years then this record isn’t being broken as this squad of talented players does not get created.

Still rate Shearer as a better striker. You had to be tougher in those days, he was in the poorer team too.

Haaland has it all, can't be roughed up without giving away a foul or penalty, an in arguably the best team in the world, given balls on a plate.

I probably agree. Scary thing is, Shearer's best was 13 league goals when he was this age. Haaland should still be yet to hit his prime

True, but again, different times. Doubt he would score so many battling old skool defenders.

He is physically bigger than most centre backs that played the game plus his pace and power would still dominate most centre backs
