Match Thread: Villa v Southampton

Recommended Posts

The body language and lack of desire looks a lot like our last season in this league, doesn't it?

They just want this to end.

Danny ings playing in one of the worst teams has scored 15 goals this season.

Imagine if we had him instead of Wesley

Wouldn’t make any difference, our midfield cant make forward passes.

If his name had cropped up pre season the response on here  would have been totally negative. Hindsight eh, it’s a wonderful thing.

I am certain this will somehow be Wesley’s fault

Read the thread.  Its Smith's all day long.

We are half way in the season. We expected to be in a relegation battle. Norwich did as well. All newly promoted teams expect that.

The question is, what did you expect?

Its less a question of what do I expect and more what I want. I want Villa to not get relegated as it will cause us to lose all our best players, with our owners most likely being more tight with their pursestrings in the future and at present, I see no reason to think Smith will do that for us. If Smith is bringing us down, I see no reason to persevere with him.

You think Luiz who by far was our best player first half should go off, and Wesley has been our best player. Just.. wow. Specsavers mate.

Get nothing against Norwich and he should be fired.

Shouldn't get the Norwich game.  It's 3 points which we will need by the end of the season.

Yes because he is average at best - yet he still scored more than all our strikers combined
