Basically - sounds as though it is still to be determined how bad or not the injury is and we should know more from Emery in the pre-match interview tomorrow... It’s in answer to the OP about why it always seems to be our more important players. It’s irritating. It’s just not supernatural. Tielemans has also missed games injured and now it looks like Konsa. We’ve had it as bad as all the other clubs with nowhere near the squad depth, odd but much like everything else the media never mention this. I think it hurts us more because for us to break that top 4 we really do need luck with injuries and we’re not getting enough of it. Teams around could have a season of injuries but the year later they’ll be back in for a title challenge or top 4. For us you wonder when it could happen again. We’ll play the same centre half pairing we did the last game. That isn’t the issue. They just lose the security of Konsa on the right side of them. Whilst him being out will be a blow that blow is at least softened a little because he has played a decent amount of games this season at right back which has allowed Carlos/Torres and Carlos/Lenglet to build up an understanding. I get your point re Kamara, however, I reckon he's specialised in his position now, and not sure how he'd cope here exclusively as a CB. He's also got a clanger in him every now and then, would rather that be further up the pitch. Never know though! Also think Lenglet is fine for the most part...
