Got injured & never got his spot back when he returned to fitness. Pity this one, was in hindsight a terrible purchase, but when we signed him he was borderline Croatia no.1 and was decently rated. Genuinely looked like had never kept before. IIRC he had started to look a bit more capable but then the concussion game was end for him. 15 conceded in 8 games, 1 clean sheet. I remember watching him warm up one Championship game, I think at that stage he was a number 3. You've never seen a warm up so half arsed in your life. It was actually disrespectful to the senior keepers on the books. With that in mind, this is great for us and gets us one step closer to being able to justify another incoming signing. Trez next. Then hopefully a few more soon. Any sales now are for the current FFP period, whereas if we had sold them before it would have been last FFP period which should already be quite healthy with the £100m sale of Jack. We should have been looking to buy before and sell after. But other clubs that don't have a 100m profit from selling jack are likely to have already spent their previous FFP allowance and so will only be able to buy after.
