He wont play Jedi at centre back. He is getting his excuses in early and making sure everyone knows we are short at cb's.

So are they excuses or realities?

Are we, or are we not short at CB?

Elphick - Out

Tuanzebe - Out

Chester - Out

Leaves us with Mings & Hause as natural CB's. Hopefully neither of these get injured.

Then theres the wing backs too - No Aldo, No Taylor.

So tomorrows defence...

Elmo - Mings - Jedinak - Hause

Should we be worried?  :suspect:

I think Taylor will come in to be fair.

Unless he is REALLY against the two left footers thingy in CB.

When is Chester back?

Like I said he is just highlighting the shortage ....the chances of jedinak playing cb are close to zero ...would you not agree.

So why else is he discussing it ?

From what I have read there is no set date or timescale set and is still injured but he is expected back for the last 4/5 games.

Well apparently Axel will be back in training in the 11th, hopefully we can survive for the next 2 games or so until then.

Yup, imagine if we could win the next 2 games, Bristol City lose, suddenly going into the International Break sets up a tasty final leg of the season.

Mings + Axel at CB, Hause at LB. That's the defence looking a million times better than what we started the season with. Keep Grealish fit, McGinn back in midfield too...

Could go on a bit of a run.

After the humiliation against west bromwich nothing less than 3 points will appease the fans.

 Don’t be so over dramatic

If it’s a strong performance people will be happy

no one in this city w0ill be happy if we lose to the filth.

this game is never about the performance.

and remember if we don't go up we lose all the best players so we still need points to get to the playoffs.

you might be happy to let the players and the manager off the hook but

I want play offs.

I agree with this. Not about performance today, all about winning. And we will win!

Surely what you actually want is promotion?

This may be why you seem so unsettled. If, for you, after the summer we had, it's promotion or disaster then you've only got yourself to blame.
