I don't follow every clubs transfers but Villa for years has a ridiculous player turnover. Is it only McGinn, Mings, Steer, and Davies left from the championship squad? I can only think of a few players who have been at Villa for more than 4 seasons in the last 20 odd years. Petrov, Hutton (went out on loan for a bit), Melberg, and the home grown lot of Gabby, Grealish and Hendrie. To get 200 games for a club should only take roughly 5 years or so if you are first choice but that seems a huge milestone for any Villa player to make recently. I don’t think anybody will touch Gareth Barry’s 365 appearances for us. Gabby was here 3 years longer and still has 30 less appearances than him.
