Pope has probably been the best English goalie this season

He's done an great job replacing Heaton at Burnley

Oh he's the keeper that kind of looks like Grealish. He's decent yeah. Who's the other one?

It's not the new names that are the problem, hart, Livermore, welbeck even Henderson, lallana, rose, they're all either in piss poor form or not really playing for their club teams, hart I think is statistically the worst keeper in the league

Joe Gomez, doesn't play for Liverpool, lallana, injured for 5 months, Livermore, bottom of the league at West Brom, Hart has been in terrible form all season when he plays, welbeck only played 8 times in the league this season.

Is that honestly the best we have?

If I was over ye the team come the summer would be:

-------------------------Pope (maybe Pickford for his distribution)

Walker-----Stones----Maguire----Rose

------------------------Dier

----Ox Chamberlain---Alli

Sterling---------------------------Rashford

----------------------Kane

Rest of squad

Butland, Pickford

Trippier, Tarkowski, Jones, Bertrand, Young

Henderson, Winks, Grealish/Foden/Wilshere

Lingard, Welbeck, Vardy

If Kane doesn't make it you are in trouble, central midfield is weak too. All out attack is the only strategy that will work also with the players available. Everyone fit and there is an outside chance as world football is weak at the moment.

Regular at the back for Burnley. Poland were looking to call him up.

People moan when in form players at unheralded clubs don't get international recognition and then don't know who they are when they do get called up....

Welbeck I’ve never rated but can in a way understand his selection as we have no other strikers outside of vardy. The others though is a complete farce. Why not even have shelvey who has been doing well for Newcastle? Surely Sessegnon deserves a call up. One of the worst squads I’ve seen in years.

What do Sessegnon and Grealish have to do to get a call up? Sessegnon would be perfect if Southgate ever wants to play 3 at the back.

Can't see what Grealish has done to deserve a call up to be honest, he's not at that level yet. Sessegnon maybe deserves a chance based on his output this season from wing back but still very early days for him.

Strikers I don't think the options are too bad. Of course all need to prove it in major tournament but Kane obviously hits 30 every season, I thought Vardy would be a one season wonder and here he is two years later still giving the best defences in the league major trouble and scoring against them all, Rashford hasn't played much but still a good goalscoring record this season and if you class him as a striker Sterling has been great for Man. City.

There's enough there if players are set up correctly to trouble defences.

Problem will be actually getting the ball to me. The central midfield options are hopeless really if you want to do anything more than nulify a game.
