I think he is the only proven Premier League quality player we have that is still just about in his prime. He will probably get better as the season goes on.

I was impressed on a couple of occasions last night.  When a goal kick is coming down to him, he's strong enough to hold his man off, take a step back and try and control it with his thigh or foot.

A lot of the time we see players just looking for knock on's, which are pretty aimless when being challenged.

Thought it showed a lot of composure, alleviated pressure and maintained possession.  Not seen that for a while.

HE followed a good game at QPR with an all out performance on Tuesday, yet somehow bettered that today.

He has ability, nous, incredible stamina, and a ferocious work rate.

And what a ball for the second goal.
