Been looking at jotas record. He has had big injuries in the past and has only had one real good season in England. Still for 6m much better than paying 12m for McCormack and 5m on tishbola

such shit business from our club.

Hindsight is a great thing, let's see how things pan out before we start beating the club with imaginary sticks.

So do you think spending 17m on those two were good business?

they deserve to be beaten by "imaginary sticks" for those two deals

what a depressingly quiet thread, no links at all, doesn't look like anyone's leaving :/

Bruce is on holiday in Portugal, so don't expect any signings.

Wyness has probably been informed who's allowed to leave though.

It's like santa going on annual leave on xmas eve.

lol such typical redknapp signings

Alex Song isn't he about 80 now he may as well go for Rigobert as well

Wilshite to cap it off will probs both be on 80k a week

We and SHA seem to be going down one route while Wolves have taken the complete opposite route.

Watching the news today is scary.

Swansea getting guys like Sanchez on loan.

Baggies bringing in real quality.

Everton spending the GDP of a small continent.

And theres us moaning about the fact we can't afford a bloke from Brentford.

If we don't go up this year we are fu##ed. And if we do it could be embarrassing. What a time to be a Villa fan.

Thanks Randy.

Yep. Don't think there was actually a worse point in premier league history to be relegated. Just as the money shoots to ridiculous levels.

Sadly this is so true.

I think it's why Xia has half an eye on the youth, and it could well be our only saving grace.

Hopefully other half should be on another manager, that will be our only saving grace.

When we were relegated people said this is the worst time we could go down & money in the Premiership is going to become ridiculous from this season onwards. I though it was a bit far fetched and that we would be fine.

This transfer window though has proved how far behind we are now being left.

True , and the parachute payments for those relegated will be far more than we got at the time - it really is get up this season or face a long wait in my opinion .
