Farlz
We are cursed, we're never going to have a striker score 20 league goals for us ever again.

Nabby
Broken his ankle being sent to see specialist will miss pre season and beginning of next season https://www.avfc.co.uk/News/2017/05/02/kodjia-injury-blow Quote Jonathan Kodjia has suffered a broken ankle. He picked up the injury in the 1-0 defeat to Blackburn this past weekend. Kodjia will now visit a specialist in Europe this week for further tests. The injury will likely require surgery which could then rule the striker out of pre-season and the start of next season.

Demitri_C
Well this is just great news isn't it! Just so unlucky. But at least it's happened now so we can make plans in pre season. Hogan will have no excuses that's for sure.

AshVilla
Well Bruce is shafted now His only chance was for Kodija to carry us to glory next season i think were more likely to get relegated now without his goals to carry us and paper over those dreadful tactics
DCJonah
FFS. So it might take him a while to get going next year and we can't afford that. For a club that's spent nearly £45 million on 3 strikers we shouldn't be that ****. But we really are. This potentially puts a huge dent in our promotion goal next year. GENTLEMAN
Stay positive guys! Better this happened now than in preseason or at the start of next season. We have the opportunity to plan ahead.
