Nigel Posted February 9, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted February 9, 2019 Totally unsuited to where we want to be now!
Hornso
Unsuited to the system, unsuited to the opposition. Might get a call up against Boro to counter Pulisball but apart from that it’s time to move on.
ROTTERDAM1982
Last night must have been that eureka moment for him, when you realise that you have gone. I never minded Jed, but he was absolutely useless last night.
Dr_Pangloss
Jedinak is a poor player at the end of his career, but I blame Smith more for selecting him, what do you expect from him? To keep the ball and play a pass and move game? He has never, ever done that in his career.

But Jedi, really? That was always only going to work out in one way. Guy is a Mile off pace. Wouldnt even call Sheffield United a big team or a long ball team

Tom13
He's had loads of games like this since joining us where his passing constantly puts us in trouble. Hope fans lay off Whelan now as he was excellent last night.

With the simplest passes he kicked it to the opposition or out. That's on one person and it isn't the manager.

rodders0223
If you play a 34 year old Jedi against one of the best passing, fittest and organised teams in the league after 2 months (?) out you should know exactly what you are going to get. Truly csnnot believe it.

He was the wrong decision but he's never been as bad as he was yesterday.
Demitri_C
Thankfully end of contract in summer. Wish him all the best modal pro but seriously he is the past now of Bruce's vision not Smith's. He looks finished. Legs completely gone. Woeful yesterday. tomav84 Posted April 11, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted April 11, 2019 whilst i thought he did OK when he came on, but think you could see the gulf in quality between him and mings/hause/axel. really hoping hause is OK for saturday
VillaFaninLondon
He did well with the balls into the box, won a lot of headers against a physical team. Have to give him credit and say he did well for the team when we were up against it. But having said that, I would not want him at centre back against Bristol City, who've got a lot of pace going forward. Mings shouldn't have been sent off, so maybe they can get it rescinded. Otherwise, you'd have to hope Hause is fit to come back in alongside Tuanzebe.
villalad21
He's amazing in the air, no one can take that away from him. Rotherham kept going for those long throws and long balls, playing into Jedi's strength, i find that amazing.

rodders0223
He has been a good servant. Had some mares, but had many moments where he has been an absolute warrior. Not just for us, but for him, I hope he ends his stay (and I presume his career) on a high.
sne
Think he was fine. There was one moment when he over committed and went gung ho into an aerial duel but completely mistimed and created a big opportunity for them. the other times he he did this he got the ball thou so well done. Pretty obvious thou he is used to have a CB covering for him behind him, something he doesn't have when playing CB.

Zatman
Ok player for a couple of games stand in at centre half. What sort of clearing in the woods would think you could get a 46 game season from him as 1st choice
